I understand that you folks are trying to pay me a compliment by telling me that I don’t “need” makeup.

But that is not what I am asking, I am not asking for your opinion on what you think I need or do not need. That is why I mentioned that in the original post. Thank you, but it actually doesn’t make me feel validated, it makes me feel sad.
