Hey MTG punx,

I am trying to build a strong Red/Green deck, what are your favorite red and green cards? What are the best ones in your opinion?

tagged under: magic the gathering.
  1. op-amp answered: Well, what format?
  2. relax-itsonlyparanoia answered: In Standard, decks revolving around using Primeval Titan to fetch Kessig Wolf Run and Inkmoth Nexus are probably the strongest Gr decks
  3. inmydarkestminute answered: For Standard? If so, I would incorporate losts of the new Werewolves from Dark Ascension. They have made some actually competitive cards :)
  4. canyousayeyjafjallajokull answered: There are lots red and green cards with the bloodthirst mechanic. I think theyre from the Guildpact set.
  5. boundlessgaze answered: Might of Oaks is a damned lifesaver
  6. cruelultimatum answered: bloodbraid elf. but that bitch aside, as previous folks have asked, it really depends on which format you’re looking to build a deck for.
  7. embarrassedtobehuman answered: gatherer.wizards.com/Pa… great resource
  8. aspiringsorcerer answered: frenzied tilling, hull breach, blitz hellion, dragon broodmother
  9. fuckyeahcreamie answered: Innistrad werewolf tribal is really fun and only going to get stronger as Dark Ascension comes out. Reckless Waif is such a good 1 drop.
  10. rasputin804 answered: get some wurms. most all the green wurms are brutal as shit. also green creatures with landfall like batoh woodcrasher
  11. maximum-hipocrisy answered: I’ve got a brutal r/g token deck with parallel lives and instigator gang being some of the main importance. Also, Mycoloth is a beast.
  12. hehasinsomnia answered: I like werewolves….
  13. wolfsangel answered: Standard, extended, or block constructed? Idk, you can never go wrong with Chain Lighting and Lightning Bolt and some aggro-combo action.
  14. his-own-design answered: Actually, Green Red Werewolves are pretty dope.
  15. hellomorningsun answered: Pikachu.
  16. artificalpulmunary answered: back in the day i ran a goblin deck and a worm deck but that was like 14 years ago
  17. telekli answered: Right now the Werewolf cards are great for red and green. Innistrad really made that combo fun.
  18. energychasm answered: Primeval Titan is a great green card to have, as well as the bloodbraid elf, you need both green/red mana to play it. :D
  19. bakujin answered: Are you playing standard [The last two blocks are most current core set] or can it be from any set?
  20. carlistae answered: For what format? Aggro, or ramp? I am fond of stormblood berserker, lightening bold or shock, primeval titan is an obvious boss.
  21. steveisskinny answered: there’s this sweet green/red enchantment that gives like +3/3 and trample on a creature but i can’t remember the nameeeeeeeee
  22. dungeon--master answered: Akroma, Angel of Fury
  23. christ-the-blog said: Oh my god you play magic, can I lick your face? Raging goblin for sure, overgrowth is good for green, ummm try to get your hands on the card called firecat blitz, it’s great if you’re going for token stuff.
  24. insertstupidblogname answered: Find the Mageslayer. It’s an artifact from alara- uncommon.
  25. grrrlfoxxx answered: anything with trample.
